Great Danes are known for their love of sleep and are often referred to as "gentle giants." They are one of the largest dog breeds and require a significant amount of rest to maintain their energy levels. On average, Great Danes need about 12-14 hours of sleep per day, which is more than most dog breeds. They tend to sleep deeply and may even snore or drool while they sleep. If a Great Dane is particularly tired, they may even fall asleep in unusual positions or locations, such as on the couch or in the middle of a room. So, a Sleepy Great Dane is a common sight and is just a natural part of their behavior and personality.
