Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is a large sandstone rock formation located in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is one of Australia's most iconic natural landmarks and is considered sacred to the indigenous Anangu people who have lived in the area for thousands of years. Uluru is known for its striking red color, particularly at sunrise and sunset when the rock appears to change color as the light hits it. It stands at 348 meters tall and is over 2.5 kilometers long, making it one of the largest monoliths in the world.
