The viaduct is a key feature of the West Highland Line, which connects Fort William and Mallaig. It is famous for its appearance in the Harry Potter film series, where the Hogwarts Express is seen crossing the viaduct on its way to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
